Journal Writing Prompt Sheets

Have you ever been so jumbled in your mind that you did not know what to do or who to ask for help? Have you ever been so overwhelmed that you wanted to just scream?

This could be due to your brain being overcrowded with information.

Writing down your thoughts can be so freeing! It’s not only a mental exercise, it is also a spiritual one. You should write down your goals and thoughts for the future as well as your emotions and concerns. For many, this is better than talking to someone.

Use these sheets to track your mood, emotional prompts, date and time so that you can look back on everything. You will find patterns in your thinking and the clarity that you will receive from brain dumping will be unmatched.

Adult Coloring Pages

Yes, coloring is for adults too! 🙂

Coloring is very therapeutic for many adults and children alike. It gives the ‘artist’ a way to ease ones mind and make beautiful art.

Scripture Meditation Cards

Meditation is so key. I wrote an article on meditation alone. You can read it here.

In order to grow in your faith, you need to meditate. Not like the world does, but by feeding on the Word of God.

These cards include verses that have helped me in my time of need.

Use them to remind yourself of God’s Word, no matter where you are in life.

F.A.Q.

Got questions?

No. Keeping a journal is a great way to write down your thought so that you can get organized. It is also very calming and a great therapeutic resource that allows a person to emotionally decompress. Many find writing their inner most thoughts in a journal more productive then actually talking to someone. Also, journaling is used by people from all walks of life so never be ashamed of keeping a personal journal. You will look back on your writing prompts and see your progress and how far you’ve come.

Adult coloring has become a popular resource for many in the mental wellness sphere. Coloring, as well as painting, is a calming experienced that allows you space to use creative resources that you may not have known you had. Coloring also helps you to self-reflect. Take a few minutes coloring, and see if your mood changes for the better.

Biblical affirmations are nothing more than telling yourself what God already told you. It’s agreeing, or affirming, God’s Word in your life. Many Christians get caught up on the language or term, and understandably so, because affirmations are typically seen in the New Age sphere along with mantras and yoga. However, affirming yourself in the Word of God is not New Age. Use affirmations to remind yourself of who you are and who God is in you.

Believe it or not, meditation is used quite often in the Bible. The first Psalm encourages us to “meditate day and night” in verse two.

Meditation is not about emptying the mind, but about filling it up with God’s Word. For more information, see my article on meditation on my blog (also referenced above).
